Courses Details

Three programs, one goal: real progress

Each course is built around a specific exam or milestone — with weekly marking, result sheets and teacher feedback so improvement is always visible.

Years 3 – 6

WEMT Course

Writing, English, Maths and Thinking Skills. The WEMT course builds a strong foundation for students' success in their future exams — four subjects taught together each week, with Cyberschool video lessons for full class-work revision at home.

Writing

Providing the most efficient skills for organising the structure of writing — from planning to polished response.

English

Constant interaction between student and teacher when reading and answering questions — comprehension that's active, not passive.

Mathematics

Essential tuition to completely understand mathematical theories, principles and formulas — not just memorise them.

Thinking Skills

Challenging problem-solving and critical thinking questions of the kind that decide OC and selective placement results.

Year 4 · OC preparation

Opportunity Class Trial Test Course (OCTTC)

The OCTTC helps students make real progress and build confidence for success in their OC Placement Test. Students sit exam-style trial tests under real conditions, then review every paper with their teacher.

  • Exam-style practice papers matched to the real OC Placement Test
  • Teacher review of every test paper — mistakes become lessons
  • Individual performance records tracked across the course
  • Strategies to manage time efficiently and minimise errors on test day
Year 5 · Selective preparation

Selective Trial Test Course (STTC)

A practical course that is essential preparation for the Selective High School Placement Test. Weekly trial tests train both accuracy and speed, and every student receives a result sheet showing exactly where to focus next.

  • Increases accuracy and speed under real exam conditions
  • Weekly result sheets that indicate each student's weak areas
  • Access to more than 4,000 selective exam-style questions
  • Special strategies: mastering Thinking Skills, advanced skills, minimising English disadvantages, and practical test-approach techniques
